To respond to these trends, Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts has come up with its own hotel brand aimed at millennials, under the name KAMPI HOTEL. Kampi Hotel made its debut at Jl. Apsari no. 3, Surabaya. The 197-room hotel offers three room types: Champs Twin, Champs Hollywood and Champs Park View. All rooms feature an elegant, modern design and décor.
What differentiates Kampi from other hotels is that employees are known as ``crafters”. All crafters at Kampi Hotel are tasked with helping guests to experience a wholly out-of-the-ordinary stay. Guests who enjoy travelling or exploring new cities will appreciate Kampi's on-hand tour advisor; while for food buffs, Kampi's food crafters are happy to rustle up culinary concoctions to suit every guest's taste. Kampi also offers practical lessons for guests seeking to experience the art of making Indonesian handicrafts. Zainuddin, General Manager of Kampi Hotel, explained that the idea is to make every guest feel as if this hotel was created just for them. “In line with our motto, ‘Crafted for you’, we want to provide a ``crafted`` hospitality experience for all our guests. ``We treat our guests as our friends,” he added.
Kampi Hotel has three Solution rooms for meetings, and a Fiesta Hall for larger events. The on-site restaurant, Aps3, has a contemporary vibe, and is also a great place to hang out over coffee, gather with friends, or enjoy live music. The hotel also has a fitness room and Spa.
